Please carefully read the following terms and conditions, which form an essential part of your booking contract with Wild Focus Safaris. By making a reservation, you agree to comply with these terms, ensuring a clear understanding of our policies and expectations throughout your travel experience.

Booking and Payment Terms
All safari bookings with Wild Focus Safaris must be submitted in writing (via email or online booking form) and are only effective upon receipt of confirmation from our reservations office. Any amendments or cancellations of a reservation must also be confirmed in writing to be effective.

When making a reservation, please provide the following guest details:

• Full name and surname
• Nationality
• Contact number
• Arrival and departure details (flight details or self-drive information)
• Accommodation details for the night before and after the safari (if applicable)
• Any dietary requirements or allergies
• Relevant medical information we should be aware of

Provisional Bookings and Deposits
Bookings are initially held on a provisional basis until the required deposit is received. A 30% deposit is due within 10 days of making the reservation to secure your booking. Please note that deposits are non-refundable.

Full Payment Requirements
The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 8 weeks before departure. Failure to pay the balance by this deadline may result in your booking being treated as canceled (deposit will not be refunded). For bookings made within 8 weeks of the departure date, full payment is due immediately to confirm the reservation.

Booking Changes
Changes to bookings may be requested up to 8 weeks before the safari departure date, subject to availability. Additional fees may apply.

Accepted Payment Methods
Payments in USD can be made by bank transfer or credit card (Visa or MasterCard). Credit card payments incur a 3.5% service fee. Bank fees and transaction costs are the responsibility of the client.

Rates and Inclusions
Our rates cover accommodation in our tented camps, all meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), non-premium alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, activities listed in the itinerary, transfers to/from location stated in the itinerary, park fees, taxes, and membership in the Okavango Air Rescue for the duration of the safari.

Rates Exclude: 
Rates exclude premium imported drinks, international flights, internal flights, road transfers outside of those specified in the itinerary, travel insurance, visas, and any services or activities not listed in the itinerary.

Cancellations and Refunds
All safari cancellations must be submitted in writing via email (to info@wildfocussafaris.com) and are effective only upon receipt by Wild Focus Safaris. Cancellation fees are based on the timing of the cancellation:

• Deposit: 30% deposit fee is non-refundable for all confirmed bookings.
• More than 60 days before departure: 50% of the remaining balance may be refunded.
• 31-59 days before departure: 25% of the remaining balance may be refunded.
• 30 days or fewer before departure: No refund is available.

For refunds, any associated bank or transaction fees will be deducted from the refunded amount.

Minimum Group Requirement
For our scheduled safaris, Wild Focus Safaris reserves the right to cancel any safari up to 30 days before departure if the minimum group size is not met. The minimum group size is 4 guests for our scheduled safaris. In such cases, all payments will be refunded in full. Clients will have no further claims against Wild Focus Safaris due to such cancellations.

Luggage restrictions for domestic transfer flights
If a chosen itinerary includes a domestic transfer flight, each guests need to adhere to the following luggage restrictions:

• Bag Type and Quantity: 1 soft-sided bag per person. The bag must have no wheels, frames, or rigid sides.
• Dimensions: Maximum dimensions of 30 cm (11.8 inches) in width, 35 cm (13.8 inches) in height, and 70 cm (27.5 inches) in length.
• Weight Limit: 20 kg (44 lbs.) total, including hand luggage.

Additional luggage space may be purchased if needed, but advance notification is required (at least 30 days before departure) to ensure availability.

Force Majeure
Wild Focus Safaris is not liable for cancellations or changes due to extraordinary events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, government restrictions, or pandemics. Refunds may be limited or unavailable in such cases. We strongly recommend travel insurance for additional protection.

Itinerary Changes
Wild Focus Safaris reserves the right to adjust the itinerary due to factors such as weather conditions, wildlife movements, safety concerns, or park regulations. These adjustments may involve changes to the route or planned activities to maintain the safety and quality of the experience. In such cases, we will make every effort to provide suitable alternatives.

Guide/Host Changes
If the designated guide or host is unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to provide a suitable replacement. This change does not constitute grounds for compensation or refund. Standard cancellation terms will apply if a client decides not to continue with the safari.

Travel Requirements
It is the responsibility of each guest to ensure they have a valid passport, necessary visas, vaccinations, and other documentation required for the safari. Wild Focus Safaris accepts no liability for issues arising from inadequate travel documents, including denial of entry or other penalties.

Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance, which may cover trip cancellation, medical emergencies, evacuation, lost or stolen property, and other unforeseen events. All guests are solely responsible for arranging and maintaining their insurance coverage.

Recommended coverage includes:

• Accidental death and disability
• Major medical expenses
• Emergency medical evacuation
• Loss of personal effects
• Trip cancellation insurance

Health and Safety
Our safaris are designed to be accessible to participants in good health. However, guests should be prepared for physical activities such as climbing into/out of vehicles, and, in some cases, short walks. If you have concerns about your physical capabilities, please consult with us before booking.

By submitting a signed registration form and paying the deposit, guests affirm they do not have physical conditions that would pose a risk to themselves or other participants.

Photos and Video Footage
By participating in a Wild Focus Safaris experience, guests acknowledge and agree that Wild Focus Safaris reserves the right to use any photographs or video footage taken during the safari for promotional and general publicity purposes. This may include, but is not limited to, use in social media, print materials, website galleries, and other marketing materials. Such usage will not require additional permission from the guest, nor will any compensation be provided. Guests retain personal rights to their images, and Wild Focus Safaris will ensure that content is used respectfully and in a manner that upholds the integrity of the guest experience. If guests have specific concerns regarding this policy, we encourage them to discuss these with us before or during the safari.

Place of Jurisdiction
Any dispute arising from any safari or services provided by Wild Focus Safaris shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Botswana.

Liability Disclaimer
Wild Focus Safaris has taken the utmost care to prepare and deliver accurate and timely content on our website. However, we cannot guarantee the completeness or ongoing accuracy of this information.

By agreeing to these terms and conditions, clients acknowledge that Wild Focus Safaris will not be held responsible for events beyond our control that may impact the safari experience.
